Principles of Calabash - Shekere Trio

The beaded, open gourd is fun and challenging to play, integrating both subtle and vigorous body movements.  This trio version of the original 9-player Principles of Calabash is shorter and more dense, utilizing 3 large shekeres, 3 axaste gourd shekeres, dun-dun with pedal, gankogui (African double bell), gajate (pedal) with jam block.  The pedal-activated instruments may be substituted with diverse options.
