MUSIC

​The percussion music is downloadable, normally complete with score, parts, and notation key – for no charge.  These free percussion compositions and exercise collections may encourage investigation of interesting and valued components of percussion study. 

Content:
  • music (trio) for 2 pandeiros and tan-tan (rebolo)
  • music (quartet) for 2 pandeiros, tan-tan (rebolo), and caxixi
  • music (solo) for brushes on snare drum
  • music - solo for auxiliary/world/commercial percussion (a training etude with play-along track)

     These studies and exercises are available for free download and suitable for introductory excursions into a technical approach to pandeiro and caxixi.  Many of the studies were first constructed         for self use and later made available to students in my studio.  Accompanying photos are provided to enhance the approach to the instruments.
